September  2010 ― My husband and I hired Loving Paws & House Sitting to look after our three cats (Shadow, Mr. Fluffy, and Ruby Tuesday) and check on our home while we were away for a long weekend.  The web site made it easy to request a quote. It was very quick to arrive in our Inbox and we were lucky that Heather was available to take on the assignment.

Our Meet & Greet Consultation went

extremely well. Heather was on time and very professional. There were a wide range of forms to be filled out to ensure that everything would go smoothly and that all of the bases were covered. Included was a card to take to our veterinary clinic so that if there had been an emergency, Heather would have been able to secure treatment for our cats.

Heather met all of our cats during the Meet & Greet and found out about their daily routine. With one overweight cat, it was important that he not receive more than his share through being able to get to the others’ food. I forgot to mention the kitty drinking fountain in the dining room during Heather’s visit, so it was great to be able to send her an email to ask that she fill it if the level was low.

When we returned home, the cats looked great and everything was as we left it.  Heather had brought in the mail for us. We found detailed reports on how each of the cats behaved in our absence and a checklist of everything that was done during each visit. As per our arrangement, I telephoned Heather to inform her that we had returned home at the appointed time – it was good to know that it something had happened to delay us and we had not been able to contact her that she would have come to continue the service until we returned.

Email communication with Loving Paws & house Sitting and with Heather was excellent. Replies came promptly, invoices were very detailed and feedback was actively sought.

It was very important to us that the cats be able to stay in their own home. Loving Paw & House Sitting provided us with very professional service and peace of mind while we were away. We would highly recommend them and especially Heather. Shadow, Mr. Fluffy and Ruby are very grateful for her care and look forward to seeing her again.
