Hello, my name is Jenny.

I joined the Loving Paws & House Sitting team in April 2011.

I am extremely happy to be part a of very professional team and will strive to do my very best in caring for all  pets that need my tender loving care in the future.

I always wanted to work with animals and this fits well with my love for all winged and four-legged friends. I believe the unconditional love that they provide makes this very easy for people like me!

I grew up in the west end of Ottawa and now live in Stittsville with my husband and our youngest of two daughters. I guess you would say that I am “semi-retired” and looking forward to presenting myself  when needed.

Growing up with two Chocolate Point Siamese, a Himalayan, and a budgie who had a lot to say with a  Scottish accent from the age of six, was my introduction to caring for pets.

Over the years, I had budgies, a cockatiel, adopted cats, various species of fish, a cat named Sandy and  a beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever named Samantha. I had a deep compassion for all.

Every dog or cat that I met in my life has been very friendly towards me and I definitely believe that they know when people love and are kind to animals.

I had the opportunity to look after a couple of dogs and cats in the past for my neighbours and quite enjoyed their company. In fact, I was sad when they came home from their holidays!

Though I have no formal medical education, I had many experiences with Veterinarians and sometimes the outcome was to give animals medicine and treatment that was easily administered.

I pride myself in flexibility, time management, and in being very patient and punctual. Good communication with pet parents is another strong point that I believe in.
